Come as you are

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

Taking this initial step to pursue therapy is a powerful act of self-love and I am honored to walk with you on your journey toward growth, change, and healing.

My initial goal is to cultivate a therapeutic relationship that is based on acceptance and respect for your own inner wisdom. I hold the belief that you have inside of you everything that you need to heal and grow. My role is to facilitate and support that natural resource as we work toward your goals.

MIND | BODY | SOUL

My healing approach is integrative with a strong emphasis on emotion-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapies. I specialize in working with adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, healing from trauma (past or present), navigating a difficult life transition, or those wanting to learn more about their own emotions and relationship patterns.

I believe in a mind-body-soul approach to therapy. The more connected you feel to all aspects of self, the greater clarity you gain and the more fulfilling life can be. This holistic approach to counseling bridges wellness and modern psychotherapy. I am affirming and respectful of people from all traditions, faiths, and sexual orientations.

I offer an hour that is purely for you.

Schedule your free 15 minute call

Whether you’re new to therapy or are familiar with the process, starting counseling can feel intimidating. The initial session has the potential to feel like a bad blind date (I’ve experienced both). I want you to feel comfortable and confident getting started. This free virtual call is your opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of who I am and how we’ll work together!

Normal is nothing more than a cycle on a washing machine.

In this social-media age it’s so easy to find ourselves comparing our “behind the scenes” to everyone else’s “highlight reel.” This game of comparison has us focusing far too much on our flaws. I believe we all need a bit less fixing and more accepting, less criticism and more self-compassion. We will draw upon your strengths to achieve your desired goals. I’m confident that in our time together you’ll find more presence and meaning in life, allowing you to live more authentically, feel more joy, and experience more wholeness in spite of life’s challenges.

As your therapist, I won’t:

Try to “fix you”
Tell you what to do
Have all of the answers
Pretend I know more about you than you do

As your therapist, I will:

Remind you that you aren’t broken
Provide tools to access your inner wisdom
Support you in figuring out next steps
Celebrate the steps taken and goals that you’ll reach

“Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do.”

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

“I am here to keep becoming truer, more beautiful versions of myself again and again forever. To be alive is to be in a perpetual state of revolution.”

- Glennon Doyle
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

- Viktor E. Frankl
“Connection. The energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgement; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”

Follow your purpose and find your JOY

A true cheerleader and advocate at heart, I’m committed to always having your highest potential in mind. I’m here to help you heal your relationship with self and others, become captivated by purpose and find your JOY. My truest passion has always been helping my clients find their voice and unapologetically step into their power.

I graduated with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Walla Walla University.  I was drawn to the program at WWU because of the emphasis in serving diverse populations, with a holistic focus. This education influenced my view in seeing the person as a whole- mind, body and spirit.
